1977
The story of SACO begins in 1977 with the formation of Decopart, a company offering specialist rack anodising services. Decopart later evolved into Integrated Aluminium Components (IAC), which today is part of the Lendlock Group.
In 1985, Keith Fellows left Decopart to forge his own path, founding a new business focused on aluminium anodising for cosmetic components. What set this venture apart was the introduction of a unique belt conveyor system, the only one of its kind in the Europe at the time.
We entered into a strategic partnership with The Quadrant Tube Company Limited who provided long-drawn aluminium component pressings for our Cosmetic anodising. The partnership took its next big step when The Quadrant Tube Company Limited was amalgamated with SACO, bringing greater capability and cohesion to our operation.
SACO’s commitment to quality was formally recognised in 2003 when the company was awarded ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System certification.
Growth continued in 2007 with the acquisition of a second factory, significantly expanding SACO’s tooling, pressing, assembly and warehousing operations.
SACO became part of the Lendlock Group Limited, strengthening its market position and broadening the Group’s combined expertise.
Further dedication to quality was demonstrated in 2012 with SACO Ltd being awarded ISO 9001:2008 certification.
In 2016, SACO expanded again, acquiring a third factory to create a second warehouse for SACO and Group use, as well as introducing dedicated group office space.
We designed, manufactured, installed and successfully commissioned a 2nd automatic belt Anodising line.
SACO continued its quality journey by achieving certification in the updated ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Most recently, in 2023, The Lendlock Group acquired IAC Limited (formerly Decopart), bringing rack anodising services back into the fold and complementing SACO’s existing belt-system capabilities.
